Pa. flags will fly at half-staff for firefighters killed battling Kensington blaze

Gov. Tom Corbett has ordered all flags at the Capitol Complex be lowered in honor of Philadelphia Lt. Robert Neary and firefighter Daniel Sweeney.

The men died Monday while battling a factory fire in Kensington. The Capitol flags and those in Philadelphia will be lowered through Saturday, when the men will be buried.

Neary and Sweeney, of Ladder 10 at Kensington and Castor avenues, became trapped when part of the building they were trying to extinguished collapsed. Three other firefighters were injured.
