Overnight crash leaves 3 injured in North Philadelphia

    One person is reported to be in critical condition and two others are in stable condition after an overnight crash in North Philadelphia.

    WPVI-TV Action News reports the crash happened around 3:30 a.m. Sunday morning at the intersection of North 5th Street and Glenwood Avenue.  According to Action News, the driver is suspected of driving under the influence.

    Action News reports the driver of a Toyota Avalon carrying four passengers inside struck a Honda Civic, causing the vehicle to crash into a utility pole.

    The three who were injured were all inside of the Honda Civic and were rushed to Temple Hospital.
