One way to deal with the heat: Pottstown opens spray park

Here’s one way to deal with Tuesday’s excessive heat – Pottstown has opened its spray park for visitors looking to cool off.

The Mercury reports the spray park, located in Memorial Park, was opened on Monday for families.

Tuesday’s temperatures were expected to near 100 but would feel even hotter to anyone outside.

According to the story, the borough’s spray park was shut down on July 6 to raise awareness about previous issues at Memorial Park.

Other parts of Pennsylvania have been dealing with the heat as well, including Philadelphia, where the city’s school district dismissed summer school students early.
