One man charged in wedding of the rails

It reportedly took between 50 and 100 cops to quell the marital melee at the Society Hill Sheraton early Sunday.

Now, one guest – Matthew Sofka, 26, of Westfield, N.J., has been charged with inciting a riot and assaulting police, according to Philly Confidential on Philly.com. The now-infamous wedding bash was caught on video in the Sheraton lobby by a man who complained that the violence was disturbing his birthday celebration.

On the video, police officers are seen frantically trying to break up numerous brawlers. At one point, the bride appears to be in the middle of the action.

One man died of a heart attack after the reception, but it is unclear whether he was involved in the fighting.
