Odabashian pokes fun at President Lincoln in campaign video
What makes Steve Odabashian the “greatest Republican of all time”? He’s a lawyer, pianist and Andy Reid impersonator. Abraham Lincoln was none of those things.
In a campaign video he uploaded to YouTube the Philadelphia council-at-large candidate lists the reasons why he’s better than Lincoln. You know, like knowing how to use a computer.
Lincoln, touted as the greatest Republican of all time by some, was shot by John Wilkes Booth in a theater. Actors, on the other hand, simply love Odabashian. (Cue footage of him hanging with Fabio).
The three-minute video continues this way, with Odabashian poking fun at Lincoln and himself. No mention of any political endeavors or a campaign platform.
It was just a few days ago Republican mayoral candidate John Featherman used dubbed footage of Libyan leader Muammar Gadhafi to make a point about Philadelphia being a one-party town.
