    Jack O’Lantern Jamboree

    Gateway Garden Center is hosting our first Jack O’Lantern Jamboree on Friday October 29 from dusk to 8pm. Rain date is October 31. The event is FREE, everyone is invited to display their pumpkin carving efforts.

    Festival of Goblins

    Come in costume – a new family event for ages 3-10! Kids and their families will enjoy delicious food for all ages, go on a special trick-or-treat scavenger hunt in the Museum, and sample a delightful variety of activities that include making boo-tiful art, decorating Halloween cookies, listening to spooky stories, live music and a costume parade! Delaware Art Museum, October 30th, 4:30 p.m.

    Adult Workshop: Nature in Art

    This workshop explores artists and artwork inspired by the natural world. Participants will explore nature inspired art at the Delaware Art Museum and DCCA followed by a hands-on art making activity. 4 credit hours are available to educators. Delaware Center for the Contemporary Arts, November 5th, 4 p.m.

    Halloween Hoopla!

    Visit the Smyrna Opera House for a delightful morning of Halloween fun! Enjoy pumpkin painting, mask making and other “hands on” arts activities. This event will be frightfully entertaining. Snacks included. Book your tickets now! Smyrna Opera House, October 30th, 10 a.m.

    Famous Works from the Rehoboth Art League Collection

    Enjoy delectable food fare and be one of the first to see the works of the Rehoboth Art League on display at the Biggs Museum. Ami Sloane, from the Rehoboth Art League, will provide gallery tours during the Opening Reception giving special attention to their memories of featured artists and traditions of the Rehoboth Art League. Biggs Museum of American Art, November 5th, 5 p.m.

    Annual Haunted Library

    Walk thru our annual Haunted Library… if you dare! There will be goody bags for all children, of trick-or-treating age, who make it thru! Selbyville Public Library, October 31st, 6 p.m.
