Objet d’art

Objects are bringing people together at the Painted Bride.

The First Person Arts Festival begins next week, inviting people to share autobiographical stories. And objects.

In honor of the festival, the Painted Bride Art Center will display common objects with stories behind them in its Memoir Museum. More than a dozen personal objects — a bowl, a sock and a fishing license among them — will be on display. WHYY’s Peter Crimmins has more information.
