Nutter signs bill to tighten campaign finance rules

After City Council today unanimously approved a bill that would tighten campaign finance rules in Philadelphia, Mayor Michael Nutter will sign off on it.

The bill will close a loophole that allows donors to funnel money through multiple political action committees as a way around the $10,600 annual contribution limit, as Tom MacDonald reports for WHYY.

Nutter is set to sign the bill at 3:30.
