Nutter announces Pledge program to promote safety

This morning, Philadelphia Mayor Michael Nutter joined media and community leaders to announce I Pledge Philly, an initiative designed to create personal responsibility around making the city safer.

NewsWorks partner Philadelphia Weekly reports Nuter’s personal pledge is to increase the number of high school and college graduates in the city, while other pledged focused on reaching youth and putting an end to the stop-snitching culture.
