Nutter acknowledges shortcomings in snow removal

Mayor Michael Nutter admits: the latest snow removal efforts are less than stellar. Nutter was on KYW this morning, where he said the city is “not completely satisfied” with the removal process.

Crews are still out there he said, but the Streets Department trucks are likely no match for the foot of lumpy, packed snow that still lines many streets.

And, Nutter admitted, the impending storm Tuesday into Wednesday will only make matters worse.
