‘Notebook’ wins one for public access to school data

    The Philadelphia Public School Notebook, a NewsWorks journalism partner, has won a court challenge to the Philadelphia School Reform Commission’s practice of keeping secret the exact text of some resolutions it discusses at school meetings.

    The decision was handed down by a Philadelphia Common Pleas judge last week.
