Northern Liberties: Get a Free Street Tree at Your Home or Business

Get a Free Street Tree at Your Home or Business – Apply by April 2

Last year we planted 100 new street trees in NL – now you can apply for one in front of your home or business this Fall!

Street trees clean our air, reduce energy costs, increase home values (by 14% according to a 2004 Wharton study), and beautify the neighborhood.

There is no charge, but you must submit an application by Friday, April 2 to be included in the Fall 2010 planting.

Download the application from nlna.org. For help or for more info, email Erika Goldberg, bgoldewag@verizon.net.

Also, you can learn how to plant and care for your tree by taking a free Tree Tenders class with the PA Horticultural Society this fall. Pre-register now by clicking here.
