Nominations for Preservation Achievement Awards due Friday

If you’ve spent the last year working to preserve a history property, the Preservation Alliance for Greater Philadelphia is offering a chance to celebrate your handiwork.

Submissions for the annual Preservation Achievement Awards are due Friday, as judging will take place in February. The awards recognize projects in the built environment that preserve, reuse or document historic features, or use new construction that’s sensitive toward the building’s history.

Submissions will be judged on the quality of the work, neighborhood impact and the need the project meets. Directions for submitting include sending in related drawings, maps and digital images.
