NJ Transit to release new railway safety PSAs

At two separate press conferences today, NJ Transit will reveal the company’s railway safety PSAs.

The NJ Safety at Railroad Crossings Leadership Oversight Committee began meeting in response to three fatalities last fall on the rail lines. Today, committee members will reveal what they’ve been working on to keep passengers safe around stations and railroad grade crossings.
If the PSAs are anything like the language in the press release, riders are in store for a verbose reality check:

“NJ TRANSIT will be unveiling a duo of powerful, no-nonsense public service announcements that crystallize the very impact wrought by poor choices at railroad crossings.”
