NJ State Police put old helicopters up for sale

It’s not exactly what you’d find in the daily classifieds, still New Jersey State Police are hoping it sells anyways.

According to a report from NJ.com, New Jersey State Police have placed a handful of aging helicopters up for sale.

The price tag? Police are asking for about $7 million for two helicopters.  According to the report, the cash would then be budgeted to pay for State Police salaries.

Police are selling off the old choppers to help soften the expense for five new ones, which cost $63 million.
