N.J. police sell T-shirts, hoodies to fund K-9 unit

A police department in southern New Jersey wants to start a K-9 unit but it needs to raise money to do so.

So police in the town of Pittman are starting by selling T-shirts and hooded sweatshirts.

Their K-9 Supporter shirts come in either blue or pink. They feature a picture of a German shepherd with the words “Protector of the Innocent” and “Capturer of Criminals.”

Orders must be placed at the police station.
