N.J. men sue Subway over size of sandwich

    Two New Jersey have filed a lawsuit alleging Subway’s footlong sandwiches are smaller than advertised.

    The suit, filed by John Farley of Evesham and Charles Noah Pendrak of Ocean City, claims the the “$5 Footlong” sandwiches consistently fall between 5 and 8.3 percent short.According to PhillyBurbs, the men want class action status for the suit to include all New Jersey residents who’ve purchased one of the sandwiches over the last six years.

    The suit was filed under the New Jersey Consumer Fraud Act.
