N.J. man gets sentenced for smuggling

It’s not all glitz and glamour in the smuggling business, folks: not everyone has a blind trust.

According to Philly.com, a New Jersey man was sentenced to 18 months in a federal prison for a 2010 incident where he attempted, albeit unsuccessfully, to take $150,000 in cash on a flight from Philly to the Dominican Republic.

The 29-year-old Ridgefield Park resident was a US Airways employee, and as such was able to bypass security screens.
