Night Market in Chinatown tonight for roving outdoor food event

The Night Market returns tonight, this time in Chinatown. After a sucessful run in Mt. Airy in August, the outdoor food market will plant itself at 10th and Race streets with food, live music and performances.

“The Chinatown Night Market is upping the ante, with food trucks you’ve never seen before and Asian foods you’ve never tasted before, plus live music, lion dancing and Asian arts,” uwishunu writes.

From 7 p.m. to 11 p.m., Chinatown will be a haven of local and exotic food, as Mt. Airy, University City and East Passyunk have been before. The Citizens Bank Foundation today will donate $25,000 to the Philadelphia Chinatown Development Corporation in support of the market.
