Nigerian man held on bail for smuggling heroin into Philadelphia International Airport

A Nigerian man has been arrested and held on bail for smuggling heroin pills into Philadelphia International Airport last week. He was detained following inconsistent answers to questions upon his arrival, and later passed the pills.
Clement Agbapu, 36, ingested 67 heroin pellets weighing in at 2 pounds, 11 ounces, the Associated Press reports. After Customs officials noticed his distended stomach, X-rays revealed Agbapu had swallowed $86,000 worth of heroin. He faces charges of possession with intent to deliver and is held on $50,000 bail.
