NewsWorks talks to Pat Croce about the potential Sixers sale

When ESPN reported earlier this week that the sale of the Sixers is “imminent,” we knew who we had to talk to: Pat Croce. The fan and former president of the franchise had a lot to say about the future of the NBA team, which could land in the hands of a young billionaire.

“Anytime there’s new blood and an infusion of new blood, it brings passion, new enthusiasm, more wins, and more fans,” Croce told reporter Lizz Fiedler during an interview last night.

But don’t think he’s coming back anytime soon. He’s settled in At. Augustine, Fla., at the Pirate and Treasure Museum. Lizz will have more on that, and Croce’s favorite player tonight on our 6 p.m. NewsWorks Tonight broadcast.
