New year, new look at Bucks Co. Community College

    It’s the start of a new school year and at Bucks County Community College in Newtown, it’s also the start of a brand new look and some new opportunities for students.

    According to Newtown Patch, BCCC is set to unveil three new majors for the fall semester, including a certificate in Recreation Leadership and associates degrees in Health Information Technology and Criminal Justice.

    Bucks County Community College already offers students 83 programs.

    The Dean of Academic and Curricular Services, Catherine McElroy, tells Newtown Patch the classes were added as a result of increased demand.
