New wing opens at Jennersville Regional Hospital

Jennersville Regional Hospital officials this weekend unveiled the hospital’s new east wing addition, part of a $23 million renovation project scheduled to open next week.

The Daily Local News reports the hospital held a ribbon-cutting Saturday.

The new wing includes 20 patient rooms that feature top of the line mattresses, along with bathrooms and showers. The new wing also features a check-in area that will give patients more privacy and security, according to the Daily Local News.

The renovation project began in June 2010. The other parts of the overall project are scheduled to take another year for completion.
