A new shuttle service is now ferrying people to shore points in South Jersey.

Shore Shuttle began serving customers today, continuing through Labor Day.

The 14 passenger shuttles operate in Ocean City, Somers Point, Marmora, Strathmere, Longport, and Margate.

The bright orange and yellow mini-buses are taking customers from their homes to pre-booked destinations.

The company says the buses feature “lively beach music and sociable drivers with loads of local knowledge.”

Shore Shuttle joins Uber and Lyft in the ride-sharing market. The free LBI Shuttle serves most of Long Beach Island.
