New president for West Catholic High School

West Catholic High School has found a new president in a familiar face.

Brother Richard Kestler, F.S.C., served as principal of the school from 1973 to 1979 and as president from 1999 to 2005. He’ll be president again effective July 1 after leaving his role at La Salle College High School.

Kestler replaces former President Brother Timothy Ahern, who left West Catholic in February after the high schoolwas recommended for closure at the end of the school year. The school will remain open through the help of donations and investors.
