New police chief for AC

The Press of Atlantic City reports Deputy Police Chief Ernest Jubilee will take the reins of the city’s law enforcement.  The promotion comes about nine months after the city’s previous chief, John Mooney, retired rather than be demoted under the mayor’s new plan to put police under the supervision of a public safety director.  The mayor says the public safety director will still set policy, while Jubilee, as Police Chief, will oversee “day to day operations.”

But apparently, Jubilee already oversees day to day operations.
