New Jersey teens arrested for stretching plastic wrap across roads

Four kids from Colts Neck, N.J., are probably regretting their series of pranks last week now that they’ve been arrested. The 13- and 14-year-old pulled a handful of potentially dangerous stunts, including stretching clear plastic wrap across two roadways.

The Asbury Park Press reports the group spent last week blocking roads with plastic and duct tape, breaking mailboxes, tossing trash cans and stealing.

They were arrested Saturday and charged with interference of transportation, theft, harassment and criminal mischief.

A motorcyclist hit the plastic wrap on Clover Hill Road, but was uninjured.
