New Jersey emergency response teams receive supplies from state

    Four Community Emergency Response Teams in New Jersey have received supplies from the state Office of Emergency Management, bringing the number of CERT utility trailers in the Garden State to 86.

    The trailers are designed to assist with flood response, Today’s Sunbeam reports, and include supplies like hoses, pumps and generators.

    Salem County CERT Manville Township CERT in Somerset County, Denville Township CERT in Morris County and Pompton Lakes CERT in Passaic County now have the newest trailers, valued at more than $10,000 each.
