New $22 million U.S. Airways equipment shop opens at Phila. airport

    U.S. Airways has opened a new $22 million equipment shop at the Philadelphia International Airport.

    Philly.com reports the airline opened the new shop Friday to help service about 900 flights that come and go at the airport each day.

    The new 56,000-square-food ground-service equipment shop is located at the west end of the airport in Tinicum Township, according to Philly.com.
