Neighbors dream up plans for Delaware River waterfront

The Delaware River waterfront of the future is pretty impressive if you talk to those who live nearby.

Parks, lights, tennis courts, a skateboarding haven. It’s all there in the heads of Fishtown residents and PennDOT is listening.

PennDOT is also being realistic, telling neighbors and waterfront advocates not all their ideas are financially feasible.

Some things that can happen on the stretch of Delaware Avenue in Fishtown under I-95? Green space, bike lanes, lighting and stormwater management.
