Nearly 1k without power in Cape May County

    Nearly 1,000 are without power late this morning in Cape May County. 

    According to Atlantic City Electric, the outage is impacting 858 customers in Lower Township as of 10:30 a.m.

    Crews are on the scene, reporting the cause as “falling tree limb damage” and a restoration time of noon. 

    New Jersey electric utility providers are advising customers to prepare for possible power outages as Tropical Storm Hermine approaches.
