NBA players have until 5 p.m. to accept revenue split offer

NBA players are holding out for a sweeter deal, despite what CNN reports is a promise from owners that labor negotiations will only get uglier after 5 p.m. tonight.

The players have until then to accept a revenue split offer and begin the season that’s already been suspended for four weeks. The current offer gives players 49 to 51 percent of the revenue, but if they fail to agree by 5 p.m., players are looking at a hard salary cap and only 47 percent of revenue.
