Nat’l Guard opens new Dover recruiting office

Delaware National Guard recruiters are getting an upgrade from a mall kiosk to a real recruiting office this morning.

Four Delaware Army National Guard recruiters will work in the office encouraging high school and college students to sign up with the Guard.  Major General Frank Vavala will help cut the ribbon on the new office during a ceremony this morning at 63 North DuPont Highway in Dover.  Guard leaders say the new location will help increase their visibility and provide easier access for walk-ins.  In addition to information about the service in the Guard, the office also has a mobile gaming center that includes six Call of Duty and Modern Warfare gaming stations.
