Multiple houses burgled in pocket of Chestnut Hill

Police are seeking the suspect involved in multiple burglaries that took place in Chestnut Hill on Sept. 15 between the hours of 1 and 4 a.m.

An unknown male gained entry into several residences located on the 8300 blocks of Seminole Street, Navajo Street, and Saint Martins Street.

Once inside the suspect took items totalling five laptops and three ladies purses. He then fled the area in an unknown direction and manner after being scared by an audible alarm and a dog.

One laptop computer and a purse was recovered in the area and processed for latent fingerprints.

The suspect is described as a white male in his early to mid 20s with a thin build and a possible goatee. He was last seen wearing a knit ski hat, backpack, dark-colored pants and gloves with the finger tips cut out.
