Motorcycle accident kills two N.J. firefighters

    A fatal motorcycle crash is to blame for the deaths of two Pemberton Township firefighters. It happened around 2 p.m. on Saturday when an accident report was called in involving two sports bikes near Route 72 in Woodland Township, New Jersey.

    NBC10 reports that 31-year-old Lieutenant Joseph Randazzo, Jr. was driving a 2009 Yamaha RI motorcycle with passenger 22-year-old Fire Police Officer Erin Phillips.

    Investigators say that Randazzo was speeding and clipped another motorcycle, throwing himself and his passenger from the bike.

    The victims had been together at a fire expo just an hour before the crash. No one else was injured in the crash.
