Mothers argue over best parenting strategy

No playdates, no sleepovers and certainly no extracurriculars. For some, like Amy Chua, who’s memoir details the strict rules she applied to her daughters, parenting is about creating high achievers. For others, it’s about letting kids find their own paths. For everyone, it’s a competition.

In the second hour of Radio Times, host Marty Moss-Coane will talk to two women about Chua’s “Chinese Way” of parenting. Ann Hulbert, who wrote about Chua’s book for Slate.com; and Asian American writer, educator and activist Frances Kai-Hwa Wang will join the discussion.

Listen live at 11 a.m. on 91 FM.
