More Philadelphians graduate from Citizens Planning Institute, new enrollment begins soon

Philadelphia now has 89 citizen planners and will soon take applications for more.

Thirty more people have graduated from the City Planning Commission’s Citizens Planning Institute. Residents can apply to the course to learn more about the new zoning code and become advocates in their neighborhoods when the code is implemented at the district level.
PlanPhilly has video of the program ceremony and more details on the next enrollment period. Classes begin in April.

Of the 89 grads, most are from parts of West, South and Southwest Philly.
