More investigation needed to determine cause of Allentown explosion

    It’s possible an inspection of a natural gas pipeline caused a leak that resulted in an Allentown explosion last month. John Walsh, chief executive officer of Pennsylvania’s UGI, says six to eight more weeks of investigation is necessary before the final determination of the cause can be made. Walsh addressed the issue of pipeline safety this morning in King of Prussia.
