Two arrested, eight dogs rescued in another raid

Philadelphia police arrested two suspects and rescued eight dogs Wednesday evening in a raid on a house in the 400 block of East Cheltenham Avenue.

The raid follows another on Monday and stemmed from information on dog-fighting locations obtained during that bust. According to Wendy Marano, a spokeswoman for the Pennsylvanian SPCA, police were seizing more dog-fighting equipment.
