More buzz about Bissinger: Writer gets a radio talk show

For those who dont use Twitter, Buzz Bissinger will bring his opinions to a radio talk show starting June 25.

Talk Radio 1210 WPHT has announced the writer will join the station later this month in a show with Steve Martorano. Bissinger will host the afternoon drivetime show from 3 p.m. to 7 p.m.
“This is a once in a lifetime opportunity for me,” Bissinger said in a prepared statement. “I will be as I always am — opinionated, passionate, prepared and willing to listen…most of the time.”

Bissinger is a Pulitzer Prize-winning author who most recently released a memoir about his relationhip with one of his sons. On Twitter, his combative side often comes out.

Bissinger will follow Chris Stigall at 5:30 a.m., Dom Giordano at 9 a.m. and Michael Smerconish at noon.
