More bathrooms? DRWC considers ways to increase visitors

Groomed park trails are always nice, perhaps additional trash cans or park shelters too, but how about more bathrooms?

The Delaware River Waterfront Corporation’s board is considering ways to bring more people to the river, according to a story in PlanPhilly by writer Kellie Patrick Gates.

According to the report, DRWC Board Member and Deputy Mayor for Economic Development and Planning Alan Greenberger has said it’s time for the board to consider ways to bring clean, safe and portable restrooms to key areas along the waterfront.

Some on the board have said there is a need for additional bathrooms.
