Montgomery County projects get $1.5 million in RACP funding

    Four projects in Montgomery County will share more than $1.5 million in assistance from Redevelopment Assistance Capital Program funding.

    State Sen. LeAnna M. Washington secured the funds in addition to the $1.25 million in RACP funding for Philadelphia.

     

    The Glenside News Globe Times Chronicle reports the money will be used for projects at Arcadia University, Roslyn Town Center, Cheltenham Township and Salus University.

    $500,000: Cheltenham Township streetscape improvements in the Elkins Park East commerical district
    $500,000: Roslyn Town Center Facilities to merge the community, cultural and library resources with business center development
    $500,000: Arcadia University campus recreation center and expanded parking
    $250,000: Salus University rehabilitation and expansion plan for the Eye Institute of the Pennsylvania College of Optometry
