Montgomery County District Attorney pens children’s book about dangers of the Internet

Montgomery County District Attorney Risa Vetri Ferman is well aware of the dangers of the Internet, but knows not all kids are. So the mom decided to write a children’s book explaining the risks of surfing the web alone.

The Mouse Who Went Surfing Alone tells the story of Wesley, who encounters online predators, like a shark posing as dolphin, to explain to kids what can happen when they surf the web unsupervised, the Associated Press reports.

The book benefits Mission Kids, a nonprofit that assists children being affected by the justice system.
