Montgomery County declares Code Blue emergency for the weekend

Beginning at noon Friday, Montgomery County is on a Code Blue Cold Weather Emergency alert through Monday morning.

Until noon Monday, weather conditions in the county will warrant the weather alert. Highs will only be in the low 30s over the holiday weekend, and a Code Blue is declared when air temperature and wind chill combinations are expected to be 20 degrees Fahrenheit or less.
