Montgomery County Community College founder dies at 92

    Montgomery County Community College is mourning the loss of its founder and first president, LeRoy R. Brendlinger. The 92-year-old died yesterday at Frederick Mennonite Community.

    Brendlinger is memorialized in this article today in the Pottstown Mercury. Before starting MCCC in 1964, Brendlinger got his education at Boyertown Area High School, West Chester University, Temple University and the University of Pennsylvania. He remained MCCC president in 1981.
