MLK events in Sussex County
Sussex County plans a combined event for a celebration of Dr. Martin Luther King on Monday.
The Western Sussex MLK celebration will hold a “Rise and Shine Breakfast” at 8am at the Heritage Shores Country club in Bridgeville. The Rev. John Moore Sr. will be the keynote speaker. You can call 302-628-1908 or email pj@easternshoreafram.org to make a reservation.
In Georgetown the RSVP advisory council plans a day of service combined with a food drive for the area. Food donations can be made at Hocker’s Super Center in Clarksville along with the Giant and Food Lion supermarkets in Millville, Long Neck and Rehoboth Beach.
