An Uber driver who was last seen in northern Ocean County late last week has been found dead in an Atlantic County motel.

George Gdovin, 32, of Seaside Park was found inside a room early Sunday afternoon at the Rodeway Inn on Route 30 in Galloway, The Press of Atlantic City reported.

Gdovin reportedly checked into the motel Saturday morning for one night. When he didn’t check out by Sunday, the motel owner checked on Gdovin and found the door locked and barricaded on the inside, according to the report.

He managed to slightly open the door, spotting Gdovin’s body on the floor, the report added.

The motel owner told News 12’s Jim Murdoch that the death is “accidental.”

In a release over the weekend, the Seaside Park Police Department said that Gdovin was last seen dropping off an Uber passenger in Bay Head early Friday morning.

Earlier today, a Seaside Park police spokesman said Gdovin was no longer considered missing, stating that Galloway police were investigating.

    An investigation is ongoing.
