Milton Street compares his second chance to Vick, Spitzer, Moses

Step back, folks. Make way for T. Moses Street. Yes, Moses. In a letter to the Daily News, mayoral candidate Milton Street makes a case for himself as a qualified candidate by comparing his situation to the comebacks of Eliot Spitzer, Rush Limbaugh, Michael Vick and Moses.

Not sure why someone who did time for tax evasion would want to compare himself to men aligned with cheating, drug addiction and dog fighting. But it’s not the first time Street’s left people scratching their heads.

Street drew a parallel between his situation and the plight of Moses: “Because of his terrible mistake he was exiled and suffered loss of position, status and dignity.  But God had a plan for him that eventually returned him to the mission for which he had been chosen, albeit in a different way. I believe God has a plan for all of us,” Street wrote.

He signed the letter as “former State Senator T. Milton Street.”
