M&T to add jobs in Millsboro
Wilmington’s loss is Millsboro’s gain, sort of. After announcing plans to layoff 700 people in Delaware, M&T Bank now plans to add jobs at its operations center in Sussex.
M&T CEO Bob Wilmers announced the plans during the New Castle County Chamber of Commerce annual dinner in Wilmington Monday night. The company also plans to spend $7 to $10 million to build a backup data center in Delaware.
