Markell signs spending plan for Delaware’s extra revenue

    With a swish of his pen, Del. Gov. Jack Markell signed the state budget early this morning, allocating $325 million in unexpected gains in state revenue.

    $3.5 billion general fund operating budget
    $664 million capital budget
    $41.2 million grant-in-aid bill
